minutesFettuccine boscaiola is in my top three favourite pastas of all time. The combination of cream, mushrooms and bacon is delicious and mouth watering. This recipe will become an instant favourite in your repertoire.
Ingredients
350g Fettuccine pasta
600ml Thickened cream
250g Brown mushrooms
5 Middle bacon rashers
1 Brown onion
1/4 Cup dry white wine
2 Tablespoons of olive oil
80g Parmesan grated
Black pepper to taste
Salt to taste
Directions
- Chop the brown onion ,bacon and place aside.
- In a large saucepan, heat up water for pasta. Place the fettuccine in and cook following the instructions on the packet.
- In a large fry pan, add the oil with the onions and bacon. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add in the mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes. Add the pepper and salt to your taste.
- Pour in the wine and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the cream and let it simmer on medium heat for 20 minutes.
- Drain the pasta and add it onto the white sauce. Pour in the parmesan and stir.
- Serve with extra parmesan or fresh chopped parsley and enjoy.
