Teriyaki chicken stir-fry is a staple recipe in every household. It is easy to make and is super tasty. This dish is loved by all ages and can be frozen for meal prep or eaten fresh.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Cups of white rice

  • 400g Chicken breast

  • 1 Small red onion

  • 2 Cups of frozen vegetables

  • 175g Teriyaki chicken stir-fry recipe base

  • 2 Tablespoons of soy sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon of vegetable oil for chicken

  • 1 Teaspoon of vegetable oil for red onion

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

  • In a medium saucepan, add the rice with 3 cups of water on medium heat.
  • Leave to simmer for 15 to 18 minutes.
  • In the meantime, cut the red onion and chicken breast.
  • Cook the red onion with a teaspoon of vegetable oil and place aside once cooked.
  • Add the vegetable oil to a medium fry-pan and cook the chicken till white. Add the recipe base along with the frozen vegetables.
  • Also add the soy sauce, red onion and salt and pepper.
  • Leave to simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Serve the white rice topped with the teriyaki chicken and enjoy.
