Mouthwatering Hoisin Prawns with Garlic and Chilli are on the menu today. This dish is incredibly difficult to resist and you will always come back to this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 200g of Fresh or Frozen Prawns

  • 200g of Microwavable brown rice

  • 2 Tablespoons of Hoisin sauce

  • Half a long mild chilli

  • 1 large clove of garlic

  • 1 Sprig of green onion

  • 1 Tablespoon of Olive oil

  • Rocket Salad
  • 40g of Rocket

  • 2 Teaspoon of Olive oil

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1/4 of Lemon juice

Directions

  • Chop the chilli finely and chop the garlic. Add them to a bowl with the hoisin sauce.
  • Prep the prawns by deveining them and rinse them well. Add them to the hoisin mixture and let them sit for 10 minutes or longer.
  • In the meantime, grab a small bowl and mix the olive oil, salt, lemon juice and rocket. Mix all together and place in the fridge.
  • Heat up the brown rice and place aside.
  • In a medium frypan on medium heat, add the olive oil and cook the prawns for 5 to 8 minutes or until pink.
  • Add the green onion for garnish and enjoy
