Easy and quick beef sausage spaghetti with chilli and red onion. This dish is flavourful and the chilli brings an extra kick.

Ingredients

  • 6 Large beef sausages

  • 340g Spaghetti

  • 400g Pasta sauce

  • 1 Long mild chilli

  • 1 Medium red onion

  • 1 Tablespoon of salt for the boiling water

  • Salt to taste for the pasta sauce

  • Black pepper to taste for the pasta sauce

Directions

  • Heat up a large sauce pan with water and cook the spaghetti following the instructions on the packet. Add a tablespoon of salt to the water.
  • In the meantime cut the onion and chilli.
  • Remove the casing from the sausages and place them into a medium fry pan. No oil is needed as there is fat in the sausages.
  • Break up the sausages with a wooden spoon and add the onion and chilli.
  • Once the sausages turned brown, add the pasta sauce along with the salt and pepper.
  • Drain the spaghetti then add it to the pasta sauce and mix together.
